Barangay Cañogan Abajo Norte

CANOGAN ABAJO NORTE named because it was planted with vast of coconut tree which means in native dialects is ''NIYOG'' or ''KANYOGAN''. The Barangay Canogan Abajo Norte has 1,325,619 land area in hectares, 7 puroks, lowland and the major economic source of living is agriculture. The agricultural productss of this Barangay are corn, peanut, tobacco, and vegetables. The majority speak the native dialect ''YBANAG''. Some inter-marriage have produced Ilokanos and Tagalog. Despite of different doalects, people here are Respectful, cooperative anf Hospitable. Every July 1-2, our Barangay Celebrated its annual fiesta in honor of our patron Nuestra Visitacion.
